Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) to launch touch panel soon. According to Sony Computer Entertainment America CEO Kaz Hirai, soon the fans would get games that would be played through both Touch Panels & Buttons. The next PSP may get an additional thumb stick as well as a Camera.

The Gaming market is booming and players are expecting more and more advanced features, So PSP 2 would get a touch panel and the form factor would return to the original slab, instead of a slide out.

Recently the have added Video on demand followed by Music on demand streaming service. So with Mini-Games, Video & Music on demand makes PSP 2 a portable media entertainer.

We can expect the expected launch in Feb' 11 (Game Developers' Conferences) or in June'11 (E3 Expo).
